The benefits of Soil Resetting
ORGANIC AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
Herbie consists of natural materials and therefore fit into a 100 percent biological environment and circular economy. Chemical pesticides are becoming less and less available and with steaming the healthy soil life is not built up. Soil Resetting does not have these drawbacks.
EXTRA CROP YIELD
In addition to preventing reduced yield from diseases, there is a clear chance of 10-25% extra crop yield, because of a better rhizosphere so that good root development is improved at low fertilization regimes.
With chemical pesticides usually no 100% killing of pathogens is achieved and does not work against certain fungal diseases. When steaming, pathogens often return after a short time, because the soil becomes less resilient due to killing the healthy soil life. Soil Resetting usually gives> 99% killing and works against all diseases and weeds tested to date. The accumulated anaerobic bacteria contribute to an increase in healthy soil life. Soil Resetting works through validated biochemical principles.
Soil Resetting enriches the soil with organic matter and ultimately healthy soil life (bacteria and non-harmful fungi and nematodes). Soil Resetting also works as a soil improver where steaming and chemical disinfection often work unfavourably for the soil structure. Soil Resetting is in fact a crop rotation with the help of bacteria, which means that even continuous crops such as apples and peonies can be grown on the same plot.
EASY TO APLLY
Inserting the Herbie and covering it with foil requires no special equipment and can be carried out by yourself or specialized subcontractors. After the foil removal you can immediately plant the new crop. The rotation of crops becomes therefore a thing of the past.
Chemical disinfection is under international pressure and steaming is not sustainable either due to the high energy consumption. Soil Resetting is therefore an attractive and cost competitive alternative.
