Effective disease control in 4 steps
For disease control, 100% Herbie granulates (or liquids) are introduced into the soil and then covered with a foil for 1 to 8 weeks. The duration depends on the temperature and the diseases to be controlled. After this period the soil is free of harmful nematodes, fungi and insects, but weeds also weeds are effectively suppressed.
The method is simple and runs in 4 steps:
Step 1: spread the Herbie granulates or inject liquid Herbie
Step 2: spading in and rolling
Step 3: covering with foil
Step 4: ready to use the soil again
Sprinkle the Herbie granules or inject liquid
Spading in and rolling
Covering with foil
Re-use the soil
HERBIE GRANULATES OR LIQUID
We supply 3 types of Herbie granulates and a liquid Herbie. All are 100% plant-based and are guaranteed to be GMO-free. They therefore contain no genetically modified ingredients. The granulates and liquids all have a specific composition and digestibility to allow bacteria to multiply fast and then to tackle the diseases. The type of Herbie and dosage depends mainly on the soil, the ability to irrigate the soil and the fertilization requirement of the crop to be grown.
We would be happy to advise you on the choice of type Herbie, dosage, depth of application, humidity of the soil, etc. We can also advise you on the right contracting company which is familiar with Soil Resetting and the use of the right machines and materials.
SPADING IN AND COVERING WITH FOIL
Spreading Herbie can best be done with a calcium spreader, and spading in with a rotary tiller. The sealing of the soil with foil must be done accurate to prevent oxygen to re-enter the soil. The plastic foil (which Thatchtec also supplies) must have a good oxygen barrier.
